<B>1846 50C 6 Over Horizontal 6 AU58 NGC.</B></I> WB-104, VP-001. The 6 in the date is repunched over an earlier punched horizontal 6. This AU58 example has a double rim cud below 846, and there is a retained cud above UNI in UNITED, indicating an intermediate die state (Randy Wiley and Bill Bugert, 1993, p.79). Medium intensity multicolored toning covers both sides, and luster resides in the recesses. Well struck throughout.
