<B>1846 25C MS64 NGC.</B></I> The 1846 quarter was struck to the tune of 510,000 business strikes. A somewhat scarce date, evidenced in part by fewer than 100 examples certified in all grades by NGC and PCGS. The near-Gem coin in this lot features bright luster and untoned surfaces that reveal a somewhat frosty finish. A well-executed strike emboldens all of the design elements. A few light contact marks prevent a higher grade.
