<B>1845-O $10 AU50 PCGS.</B></I> Breen-6870. The date is obviously repunched south. A richly detailed and generally smooth example that has noticeable luster, particularly on the reverse. The top of the second shield stripe has a circular piece absent, as made and a cousin to the "Hole in Ear" varieties of certain large cents and half eagles from the 1840s.
