1845 N-2 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Brown.
1845 N-2 R1 PCGS graded MS64 Brown. Very attractive lustrous olive and bluish steel brown with at least 10% of the mint red remaining. The surfaces are satiny and virtually flawless. The only notable flaw is a shallow low spot in the field under star 7, as struck. A beautiful cent. EDS, die state a, showing fine die lines that connect the second A in AMERICA to the leaf below. Our grade is MS63, tied for CC#1 in the Grellman census. The attribution is noted on the PCGS label. Pop 1; none finer at PCGS in BN.
Estimated Value $300-UP.
