<B>1845-D $5 MS61 PCGS.</B></I> Variety 12-I. An especially pleasing Mint State example with lovely green-gold surfaces and satin luster. Both sides of this piece are quite well struck without weakness on either side. Only the hair curls below the coronet, and the eagle's right (facing) claw prevent a "full strike" comment. The obverse has light clash marks and the reverse has fine die cracks.
