<B>1845-D $2 1/2 XF45 PCGS.</B></I> Variety 6-I. The only known variety for this issue. Quarter eagles were only produced in Philadelphia, Dahlonega, and New Orleans during the year, thanks to a fire at the Charlotte Mint. In Dahlonega, a modest production of 19,460 coins were minted.
