<B>1845 10C MS65 NGC.</B></I> Fortin 103. Repunched Date. The 5 in the date is triple punched, both above and below the flag. While a common variety, the Repunched Date is a popular one with collectors, and it is often offered as such because it is easily recognized. This is a sharply struck coin that is brilliant throughout. The fields show slight evidence of die striations, which impart a brightness to each side that adds even more to the coin's overall attractiveness. There are no mentionable abrasions on either side, though some faint hairlines are noted in the obverse fields. An important opportunity for the type or variety collector.
