Half Cents 1844 Breen 1-C Rarity-6 PCGS graded Proof-65 Brown. Second Restrike. <b>Choice light steel brown with deeper bluish steel overtones, especially on the reverse. The fields are nicely reflective, especially the reverse, which is unusual for this series of restrikes. Fine polishing lines cover the fields on both sides. Free of any spots. The only defects are faint traces of a fingerprint under star 5 and a tiny planchet chip on the rim under the right side of the 8, as struck. Sharp and very attractive.
