<B>1844-D $5 AU58 NGC.</B></I> The 1844-D five dollar is one of the more available issues from the Dahlonega Mint through the lower grades of About Uncirculated. The AU58 example in this lot possesses ample luster on its yellow-gold surfaces, and exhibits sharply defined motifs. The few minute marks seen are not out of line with what would be expected on a lightly circulated coin.
