<B>1844-D $5 AU55 NGC.</B></I> Variety 11-H. Well struck with only traces of highpoint wear on each side, this Choice AU example is somewhat subdued, but displays excellent detail for the issue and for the grade. Numerous small marks are scattered over the lime-green surfaces. None of these are individually noteworthy or distracting, however. A pleasing example of this relatively available Dahlonega half eagle.
