"Sold by E.P. Whaites 1 Cortlandt St. N.Y." [3" W x 6" H]. Toning, fraying at top and bottom edges, stains, and creases with one tear affecting text. 2.) Newspaper handbill "York Gazette" announcing the election victory of Polk and Dallas to the Presidency and Vice Presidency of the United States [5-2/4" W x 14-1/4" H]. Toning, stains, creases, fold wear with short tears. 3.) Nathaniel Currier color lithograph portrait of Theodore Frelinghuysen [Image: 11-1/2" H x 8-3/4" W on larger sheet]. Toning. 4.) Printed circular letter signed, in type, "Garrit Smith," tall 4to, 2-3/4 pages. Addressed to "William H. Seward, Esquire," Smith remarks on the viability of Henry Clay as a presidential candidate. Uneven age toning and fold wear with short tears. 5). Two large 4to printed sheet music compositions, relating to James K. Polk.
