Quarter Dollars 1843 NGC graded Mint State 64. <b>Outstanding deep antique-silver patina that exhibits shimmering steel blue iridescence around some of the devices, a genuinely attractive coin. To go with the nice toning and choice luster, a sharp strike on all stars, on Liberty and her shield as well as the eagle with its shield. Indeed, close inspection with a glass reveals no signs of weakness on this scarce, early issue.
