<B>1843-O $10 AU55 PCGS.</B></I> This issue had the third highest production of the denomination at the New Orleans Mint, behind 1847-O and 1851-O, and examples are common enough in all grades up to XF. However, the population drops substantially in AU or finer grades. This attractive Choice AU piece has light yellow-gold color with frosty luster and faintly reflective fields. Each side is lightly abraded, but there is nothing unusual about that.
