<B>1842-O 10C MS63 NGC.</B></I> Medium O. Conditionally scarce in Mint State, despite its mintage of more than 2 million coins. The 1842-O is known in both Medium O and Small O varieties. This example is well struck and nearly free of marks, with reduced luster seeming to limit the grade. Attractive speckled red-brown patina occurs near the obverse periphery, with lighter tan color appearing over most of the reverse.
