Luster shimmers from the legends of this elusive Bechtler five dollar piece. The strike is even throughout, and the eye appeal is significant given its pioneer origins. Struck during the fifth series of Bechtler private coinage, with a standard of 26.8 grains per dollar. Slightly glossy above 134 G, and hints of a lamination are present on each side of the G in GOLD. A few faint field marks require only passing mention. Listed on page 350 of the 2008 Guide Book. Population: 2 in 58, 0 finer (1/08).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
