<B>1842 $10 Small Date AU55 NGC.</B></I> The low overall mintage of the eagles of 1842 is further split between the Small Date and Large Date variants, the former slightly more available than the latter. This Choice AU representative offers pleasing luster on each side with an element of orange on the reverse, in contrast to the yellow-gold evident on the rest of the coin.
