<B>1842 $10 Large Date AU55 NGC.</B></I> The more available of the two 1842 logotype varieties, but a scarce item in any grade, since the mintage of 81,507 pieces is shared with the Small Date. The Guide Book breaks down the production into 18,623 Small Date and 62,884 Large Date pieces, but the actual difference in rarity suggests a more even mintage distribution. A sharply struck piece with plentiful luster and a few moderate reverse field marks.
