Half Cents 1841 Breen 1-C Rarity 6+ PCGS graded Proof-64 Brown. Second Restrike. <b>The obverse is an attractive light bluish steel brown with lots of underlying faded mint red mellowed to rose tones. The reverse is light brown with delicate hints of sea-green and bluish steel overtones. The obverse fields are nicely reflective while the reverse fields are covered with fine die polishing lines and exhibit a bit less reflectivity, as usual for this series of second restrike proofs (which share the same reverse die). The only notable marks are a pair of tiny ticks just right of star 3, a small planchet flake on the rim at star 10 (as struck), and a thin crease in the planchet (also as struck) slanting from the rim to D in UNITED.
