<B>1840-C $2 1/2 MS60 NGC.</B></I> Variety 1-A. Highly lustrous green-gold surfaces and frosty mint brilliance are important quantitative attributes of this lovely Mint State piece. It is sharply struck at the centers and about the periphery. In fact, this piece could be called a full strike. The surfaces have a few minor hairlines and other slight imperfections, but the overall appearance suggests a much higher grade at first glance.
