<B>1840 1C Large Date MS66 Brown PCGS.</B></I> N-5, R.1. Grellman Die State a-b. The recutting over the digit 0 and the die lines over RICA are all visible, although they are blurred by flowlines. Although a few stars are weak, all remaining details are boldly evident. The surfaces have full cartwheel luster with even brown color accented by hints of original red. While our EAC grade seems a little conservative, we consider this cent to be a Census level example. EAC 62.
