<B>1840 10C No Drapery MS66 NGC.</B></I> The No Drapery, Stars Obverse subtype of the Seated dime was used at the Philadelphia Mint for only three years, 1838-1840. The 1840 boasts the lowest mintage of this trio with 981,500 pieces and, while somewhat available in lower grades, this issue is a prime rarity in Gem condition. This silver-gray example is sharply struck throughout with a rich endowment of mint frost. The reverse is well preserved, and the obverse field has only wispy grazes.
