<B>1840 10C No Drapery MS65 NGC.</B></I> While a fairly obtainable date, the significance of the 1840 lies in the scarcity and importance of the No Drapery type, which is limited to only three years. Predictably rare in Gem condition, only 11 other pieces have been so graded by NGC and three by PCGS, with 20 coins finer (1/08). This a lovely piece that has soft, frosted mint luster and an overlay of deep golden-russet and faint traces of blue around the margins.
