<B>1840 10C No Drapery MS65 NGC.</B></I> The obverse of this briefly minted type displays Christian Gobrecht's original design for the Seated Liberty dime, a fact that should endear this coin to both Seated coin specialists and type collectors alike. The 1840 No Drapery is easily the most challenging of the three P-mint issues of the design at the Gem level. This lustrous example displays characteristic exactness of strike and an abundant mottled overlay of lilac-gray and russet toning.
