<B>1839 H10C No Drapery MS66 NGC.</B></I> The "No Drapery" description is accurate as far as it goes, but does not do justice to the changes made to the differences between the design and what would succeed it in mid-1840. In fact, these half dimes (and dimes) are a legitimate three year subtype within the Seated Liberty series. This piece is an excellent example of this subtype, with indigo, sea-green, and burgundy toning atop silky luster. Sharply struck, with barely a trace of weakness to be found.
