<B>1838-O 10C No Stars MS62 NGC.</B></I> Fortin-101. The mintmark is repunched south, and the obverse has a rim cud at 2 o'clock. One of Gerry Fortin's Top 100 varieties. Both sides of this lustrous example are attractively toned in concentric shades of golden-violet and turquoise around the peripheries, framing the light gray centers. the design elements are sharply impressed. Minutely granular, and the right obverse field has a hair-thin mark. The only New Orleans issue of this short-lived No Stars type.
