1838 Liberty Seated Quarter Dollar. PCGS graded MS-62 PQ. No Drapery. Light golden toning. This is one of the shortest-lived types in the entire Seated Quarter series of 1838-1891. Examples without extra folds of drapery at Liberty's elbow were made solely in 1838 and 1839 at the Philadelphia Mint, with a single 1840-dated issue from New Orleans.
