<B>1838 H10C Large Stars MS67 NGC.</B></I> The 1838 is the first P-mint Seated half dime to display stars around the obverse periphery. This is not a rare issue in low grades (an impressive total of 2.2 million coins were produced), but coins that grade as fine as the present Superb Gem are few and very far between in today's market. This Large Stars example is layered in rich gunmetal-blue toning with some rose accents visible on the reverse. The surfaces shimmer with full mint luster, and the sharply brought-up devices are free of any outwardly noticeable abrasions. Perfect for inclusion in a high quality type set that highlights originality.
