<B>1838 25C No Drapery MS63 NGC.</B></I> Open Claws Reverse. First year of issue for the modified Seated Liberty design by Christian Gobrecht. As with most 1838 quarters, this piece shows strong mint frost. The strike is sharp in most areas, except on the head and stars on each side, as pointed out in the Greer reference (1991). Light orange and blue toning is seen over each side, and there are a few tiny pinpricks present on this attractive coin.
