<B>1838 1C PR65 Brown NGC.</B></I> N-11, Low R-6, as Proof. Identified by a light die scratch from right side of E in LIBERTY to the edge of the Coronet above. Raised die lines on Liberty's neck that are often faint on business strikes are here extremely bold. The central devices are very well defined, while characteristic bluntness is noted on the left obverse stars. Smooth, modestly reflective fields offers glimmers of faded orange-brown color in the protected areas. Fewer than 30 proof strikings of the N-11 die marriage are believed extant. EAC PR60.
