<B>1838 10C Large Stars MS65 NGC.</B></I> The Large Stars 1838 dime is distinguished from the Small Stars variety by the fact that the latter, according to Brian Greer (1992): "Always (has) a die crack through the first six stars." The MS65 example in this lot lacks such a crack. Both sides are awash in radiant luster and light intensity reddish-brown and gray patina with whispers of cobalt-blue at the margins.
