1838 $10 XF45 PCGS. The rare 1838 was the first gold eagle struck for circulation since 1804, and represented the largest gold denomination up to that time. It introduced the Liberty motif that dominated the series through 1907, although the portrait was modified slightly in 1839. This is a richly detailed green-gold piece with problem-free surfaces. Only 7,200 pieces were struck. Population: 13 in 45, 22 finer (1/08).

Shipping: Coins & Currency (view shipping information)
