1837 N-9 R1 PCGS graded MS66BN. PCGS graded MS-66 Brown. Beaded Hair Cord, Head of 1838. Very attractive lustrous light chocolate and olive with delicate overtones of bluish steel. Traces of mint color remain on the obverse while at least 20% of the reverse shows mint red. No defects and great eye appeal. LDS with rim cud breaks from star 11 down to below star 12. The die crack through star 6 is clear, as is the crack from the first A in AMERICA up to the dentils between the A & M. Called MS63 and tied for CC#5 in the Bland census. Our grade is MS64.
