<B>(1837) "I Take the Responsibility" Certified Lot, HT-70.</B></I> Two of the HT-70 satirical Hard Times tokens in copper, one <B>MS62 Brown NGC,</B></I> lustrous and radiant, with a touch of mint red at the rims; and a second, <B>AU55 NGC,</B></I> olive-brown and problem-free. Part of the broad satire of this piece compares President Andrew Jackson to a jackass, despite Harvard College's conferral of an honorary Doctorate of Laws (LL.D) degree on him in 1832.
