<B>1837<H10C> Small Date (Flat Top 1) MS66 NGC.</B></I> A splendid coin, and considered much scarcer than the Large Date variety. The surfaces display turquoise-blue, amber, and rose-gray coloration that attests to the originality of this lovely Premium Gem. A couple of minor luster grazes and pinscratches are noted in the obverse fields that preclude an even loftier grade assessment. The boldly impressed devices do full justice to Christian Gobrecht's original Liberty Seated design.
