<B>(1837-42) $2 1/2 C. Bechtler Quarter Eagle, 67G. 21C. AU50 NGC.</B></I> K-10, R.5. A rare quarter eagle from Christopher Bechtler that shows much deep reddish-violet color around the peripheries with rich orange-gold centers. The dies are rotated clockwise by nearly 90 degrees. Almost no marks can be seen on the surfaces and the strike is even and well brought up in all areas.
