1837 3C Feuchtwanger Three Cent AU55 PCGS. Low-117, HT-262, R.3. Dr. Lewis Feuchtwanger's one cent German silver tokens are familiar to Hard Times collectors, but the three cent tokens are considerably more scarce. Two varieties depict a defiant eagle as the major motif. The present variety, however, is taken from the New York Coat of Arms, reminiscent of the 1787 Excelsior coppers. This chestnut-brown and slate-gray piece is unmarked, and shows only moderate wear on the legs of Justice and Liberty. Listed on page 371 of the 2007 Guide Book.
From The Monedas Oro Collection.

Shipping: Coin/Currency (view shipping information)
