<B>1836 PS$1 Name on Base, Judd-60 Original, Pollock-65, R.1--Plugged, Altered Surface--NCS. Proof, AU Detail.</B></I> Die Alignment IV (the center of Liberty's head is opposite OF). Struck in March 1837 and considered regular issue pieces, as are the coins struck in calendar year 1836. An estimated 600 pieces were struck in this March production run. This particular coin has been holed and plugged at 12 o'clock.
