1836<PS$1> Name on Base, Judd-60 Original, Pollock-65, R.1--Plugged, Tooled, Whizzed--ANACS. Fine Details, Net PR4. Silver. Plain Edge. Die Alignment I. Original Issue of 1836 with the eagle flying upward. No die scratch is apparent above the eagle's wing, placing it in the first striking period in early December. As stated above, the coin is plugged and whizzed, and both sides are crudely tooled in the fields. The most notable areas are the ribbon on the shield, the lowest star on the right, and the pellet next to the star. Numerous planchet voids are scattered over each side and there are also several scratches. Light gray patina overall with darker accents around the devices.
