1836 N-3 R1 PCGS graded MS66BN. PCGS graded MS-66 Brown. The obverse is lustrous chocolate and steel brown with very faded mint color showing through in the protected areas. The reverse is lustrous uniform golden light brown and tan faded from mint red. No spots or stains, only a few microscopic ticks. These are found just right of the eye, on the cheek, and off the lower right point of star 1. LDS with a cud break reaching slightly inside the dentil tips at star 6 and a die crack that arcs from the dentils through the first S in STATES through that letter and the tops of ONE to the left edge of the M and on to the dentils above. Excellent eye appeal, which is recognized in the superior grade assigned by PCGS. Called MS63 and tied for CC#2 in the Noyes census, his photo #36385. Our grade is MS63. Estimated Value $1,000-UP.
