1836 Model U. S. Martial Flintlock pistol converted to percussion and dated 1842, .54 cal., with all features as standard on this issue. The pistol remains in good to very good condition showing a gray-brown patinafinish, scattered light to moderate erosion and pinprick pitting, good markings; stock good to very good with two cartouches, some minor dings, mars and scratches. The action is good, and generally very good overall.The lock plate shows a brass insert where a flintlock portion was removed and nipple screwed directly into the breech in arsenal manner. Little John's will pay for packing and materials. Buyer pays actual costs of shipping and insurance. All International purchases will be sent to an exporter for shipment to foreign countries.
