1836 HANDWRITTEN BOUNTY ON A SLAVE WHOLE STOLE - We can't read the state but it looks like Henry County. Bannister Allen stole six pieces of meat, two middlings and four joints from John Atkins. Bounty letter is "To any lawful officer to take the body of Bannister Allen, if found in your county, and bring him before the Justice of the Peace".
