November 29, 1836-Dated, Excellent Content Manuscript Document, 8” x 12.75”, 12 pages, Carolina County, Virginia, bound with ribbon. Being the “Last Will and Testament” for William A Beazley. Document gives very specific instructions on the disbursement of his physical property, including a listing of 32 Slaves by name and with a breakdown of their values, which totals $8,000. Also lists land, sheep, oxen, mules, horses, a still, about everything in his house down to a broken saw valued at 12.5 cents. Document includes the court orders for the appraisals and sales of items. A very detailed and complete document showing the value of a man’s worldly goods. Excellent in quality and content.
