<B>1836 $5 MS64 PCGS.</B></I> Breen-6509, Second Head, Large Date, McCloskey 4-C, R.3. This is apparently a scarce variety. In fact, the Harry Bass Collection contained just three examples, the best of the lot grading only AU55. The piece offered here is a lovely Choice Mint State example with excellent eye appeal. The surfaces have frosty yellow-gold luster and are lightly abraded, more visible on the obverse and mostly on Liberty's cheek.
