<B>1836 $2 1/2 Script 8 MS62 PCGS.</B></I> Head of 1835, Breen-6143, McCloskey-G, R.4. Star 6 is near the curl, there is a berry on the reverse branch, and AM is widely spaced. A prominent die crack runs from the rim through star 6, through the bottom corner of the L in LIBERTY, across the highpoint curls, the portrait, and back to the rim between stars 12 and 13. Another crack runs from the juncture of the neck and jawline to the lovelock. This is a later die state than usually seen. The surfaces are brilliant yellow-gold, with a sharp strike and excellent eye appeal.
