<B>1835 $2 1/2 MS62 NGC.</B></I> McCloskey-1, R.2. The usual die variety for the date, with a widely spaced AM in AMERICA. A faint die crack passes through star 6. The A in STATES is high. A prooflike example, although not certified as such since the NGC holder generation precedes the designation for gold coins. The centers are slightly soft, and the fields are only lightly abraded.
