1834 N-2 R1 PCGS graded MS64RB. PCGS graded MS-64 Red & Brown. Small 8, Large Stars, Medium Letters. Lustrous steel and light chocolate brown with 15-20% of the original mint red remaining. No spots or stains. The only marks are a few thin, light nicks in the field before the face and a thin scuff under TA in STATES. Nicely struck EDS. The fields are smooth on both sides and small spikes extend from the tips of the dentils from star 13 clockwise to star 2. Great eye appeal in spite of the minor contact marks. Called MS63 choice and tied for CC#4 in the Noyes census, his photo #21658. Bland says MS63 and tied for CC#2. Our grade is MS63. PCGS Population 1; none finer. Estimated Value $1,000-UP. Ex James G.
