Lustrous bluish steel brown with underlying faded mint red showing on both sides, especially on the reverse. The satiny mint luster extends even to the highest points of the design. The only marks are a tiny speck of carbon in the dentils left of the date and an extremely faint scuff in the field right of star 2. M-LDS, the reverse rotated 20 degrees CW. EAC grade MS63+. A premium mint state cent.
