<B>1834 $5 Plain 4 MS64 NGC.</B></I> First Head, Breen-6501, McCloskey 1-A, R.3. Sharply struck with fully defined stars, Liberty's hair is crisp and the eagle is sharply detailed in all details. Broad, high rims. An interesting die break runs through stars 4-6. The surfaces show semi-prooflike, cartwheel luster, and lovely golden toning. A beautiful example of the Kneass version of Reich's half eagle, with no noticeable abrasions and strong eye appeal.
