<B>1834<1/2 C> C-1, B-1, R.1. Die State 1. MS64 Brown NGC. MS63 EAC.</B></I> Tall, plain 4; High leaf left of center below S. Perfect dies without any indication of clash marks on either side. Breen considered the reverse to be in a repolished state, after the production of 1833 Half Cents from the same reverse die. Ron Manley, however, has suggested that the mintage of the two dates overlaps in a series of remarriages. This is a splendid example with sharp design elements and fully lustrous and satiny light brown surfaces. A small oval of darker brown toning crosses Liberty's cheek, into the hair curls.<BR><I>Ex: Unidentified B.
