Frosty medium brown and light chocolate with hints of very faded mint color in a few of the protected areas on the obverse. The only mark is a spot of shallow carbon on the right side of the second T in STATES. M-LDS, Grellman state c. The repunching on the 8 is clear (the so-called "Horned 8") but the stray 8 punched into the dentils below that 8 is no longer visible. The reverse is rotated 30 degrees clockwise. Our grade is MS60. The attribution and COL Ellsworth Collection provenance are noted on the PCGS label. Ex Maine Type Coins 3/1987-March Wells-Dr. Philip W.
